Engage 360 seeks to employ the model, ideas, and cultural concepts used throughout the early church, whether it be by the Apostle Paul on Mars Hill or by early believers in the marketplaces, the synagogues, on the roads, and even in prison. The company trains Christians to engage the culture in their context.

The Summary

Engage 360 was managing its donor and financial data across Salesforce and QuickBooks Online. However, the process of creating receipts and syncing data was entirely manual, resulting in time-consuming efforts and a higher chance of errors. QB Sync Made Easy stepped in to automate this process, integrating Salesforce and QuickBooks to streamline donation tracking and financial reporting.

The Challenges

The company was struggling with managing donor and transaction data as they had to do it all manually between Salesforce and QuickBooks Online. The entire process was not only time-consuming but also increased the risk of errors or inconsistencies.

  • Manually creating Sales Receipts in QuickBooks based on donations recorded in Salesforce.
  • Time-consuming updates whenever donor or opportunity data changed.
  • Lack of consistency between CRM and financial systems.

The Solutions

To resolve these issues, we implemented a seamless integration between Salesforce and QuickBooks that automated key workflows. This significantly improved efficiency and reduced manual work.

Here’s what was delivered:

  • Set up automation to create and update QuickBooks customer records directly from Salesforce accounts.
  • Enabled automatic creation of Sales Receipts in QuickBooks for selected Salesforce Opportunity types: Donation, Grant, In-Kind Gift, Major Gift, Matching Gift, and Special Gift.
  • Added a custom “QB Class” field to the Opportunity object in Salesforce for more granular control over receipt classification.
